From 16 to 23 July 2023, a seven-day leadership academy for Taiwanese pastors was held at the training centre.

Twenty-nine pastors attended and received leadership training, including Tomsun Tomsun, president of the Taiwan Unification Church.

In the past, Chinese have visited the Jeju Institute for spiritual training.

but this is the first time that a group from overseas has travelled to Jeju for leadership training.

Taiwan has the advantage of direct flights to Jeju Airport, which means they can enter the country without a visa.

The Taiwan Conference, which has about 90 pastors, plans to offer leadership training to the rest of its pastors after this training.
