On 21-26 October 2019, a Health Expo for Pyosun people was successfully held.

The event was organised by the North Asia Branch Leadership Training Institute, hosted by the Pyosun Church, and sponsored by Pyosun-myeon.

The Leadership Training Center invited Doctors Without Borders, based in California, USA, to provide medical care for the residents.

A total of 1,500 people visited the expo through various programs, including free medical treatment, health seminars, a health walking, a free sharing market, and a healing concert.

The health expo also seems to have improved the relationship between the leadership training center and local residents, who had been in conflict over the quarry.
